A Twentieth Wedding Anniversary

When two people are joined in marriage, and the occasion is

one of joyousness and anxiety—the ceremony, reception and honeymoon will be tender memories known only to you…to look back and smile on when thinking of them; as you watch your own children marry.

Marriage is the beginning of the rest of your life, in which

sacrifices, trials, elations and tribulations are encountered.  They each present walls which must be vaulted or town down, and so, learning the secrets of not making the same mistakes again.

The years after the honeymoon are the golden, yet trying

ones.  The meaning of marriage is gradually realized as the two people live and share everyday experiences, satisfying their innermost desires of being needed and loved.

It takes marriage to love marriage…

May your united years, which now number twenty

be abundant in happiness, love and plenty.
