Our Sin

So young—in love

we couldn’t wait.

Can’t we start over?

No, it’s too late.

Carefree and gay

my love he did win.

But love is lost

on account of our Sin.

Life now is meaningless

my joys are gone.

So many battles fought, though

yet none have I won.

I pray to God

to give me strength,

so this duration of time

will shorten in length.

Forgetting his face

will take awhile.

My tears I shall hide~

on my face, a smile.

There is a way

look to a new day.
