Peace of You

In awe she is of Your plan for her
a spark of your Light she needs within...
Trying to listen to Your Wisdom spoken
a child she is once again.

To implore others to see in her
the changes of an adult child ~
fall on blind eyes that are open -
  minds that are closed.

She feels alone on this path,
all familiar has left her side.
She has wept for a piece of the gentleness
She has prayed for the peace of remembrance
That everything will be okay ~

And yet her trembling is all they see,
mistrust, distrust and fallen from Grace
  she is alone
           so vulnerable and unprotected.

The anxiety of faithlessness in others
frightens her -  smothers tiny flames of
of Hope and Light.  Prayers fall to ashes
on the ground.   Bended knees.  Bowed head.
  Blindly.  Urgently.  Seeking.

She needs to find peace...a piece of You
To resurrect in her the Life You gave.
To have and to hold her in your Love -
A Fear of abandonment.  She's struggles.

A-men
